A cabin weekend should not require choosing between eating out for every meal and making do with one tired pan. We set up this kitchen for the meals we like to cook when our own family stays here.
Bring the groceries; settle into the kitchen
You will find a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a collection of cookware and utensils. We keep both stainless and nonstick options, along with knives, cutting boards, dishes, and glassware.
The point is flexibility: a quick lunch between outings, a proper breakfast before fishing, or an unhurried dinner around the table. Plan on bringing the food and any specialty ingredients your recipes need.
Coffee, your way
There is a Keurig for a quick cup, a drip machine when everyone wants coffee, and a French press when the morning can take its time. An electric kettle also makes tea straightforward. Take your mug to the deck and enjoy the open river view.
Take dinner outside
The propane grill is there for outdoor cooking, with a griddle insert for more options. Follow the instructions in the cabin for setup and safe use. When the cooking is done, the comfortable seating and propane fire pit make it easy to stay outside.

Make a meal part of the trip
Pick one breakfast worth sitting down for and one dinner you enjoy making together. With a small group, that can be enough planning for a weekend. The dining table, dishwasher, and in-cabin washer and dryer help make a longer stay practical too.
